1. Overview

Super Prompt is a local-first Chrome extension for managing prompts and sending user-triggered prompt text to AI websites. This policy explains what data is stored, when data leaves your browser, and why the extension asks for browser permissions.

2. Local-First Storage

Your prompt library, favorites, pinned prompts, categories, shortcuts, and settings are stored locally in Chrome storage by default. We do not collect usage analytics, browsing history, or page content.

3. Optional Cloud Sync

If you sign in and use Pro sync, Super Prompt sends your prompt library and categories to the configured Super Prompt backend so you can manually back up and restore them across devices. Sync is optional and is not required for the free local workflow.

4. Chrome Permissions

Super Prompt requests access to websites so it can insert prompt text into AI chat input fields after you trigger an action, such as clicking "Use Here" or selecting an item from the right-click menu. The extension does not silently scrape webpages or transmit selected text unless you explicitly choose a prompt action.

5. Third-Party Services

AI providers: When you send a prompt to ChatGPT, Claude, DeepSeek, Kimi, Doubao, or another AI website, that website receives the text you submit. Their own privacy policies apply to that interaction.

Payments: Pro purchases are processed by Creem, our Merchant of Record. Creem handles payment details and may provide us with purchase status, customer email, and license information. We do not store credit card details.
